April Showers, Bring May Flowers

So, the cool kids (aka the style me bloggers) let me join their club. I'm super stoked to link up with some amazing ladies every couple weeks while they blog about cool topics.

Deena I'm still waiting for the secret high five or whatever.

April Showers

When I found out what the first topic was I had some great ideas instantly. Of course me being me, I leave everything till last minute. So week 1 and I'm already into my first blog fail.

So pretend for a minute that I had purchased this umbrella and took some really creative photos with it.

This is the Kate spade umbrella from Chapters. I've been obsessed with it for months. My birthday is next Wednesday so if someone can tell Nick to buy it for me that would be swell.

May Flowers

When the flower print skirt made an apperance on the spring style challenge I was surprised. For some reason I didn't realize what a trend floral was.  Apparently I'm not cool. Now that I've gotten over the whole grandma stigma of it all, I'm loving it. Along with my new skirt, I have a few new floral scarfs, floral shirt, floral dex flex flats and just went out on a limb and got these leggings....

I've also recently purchased this wristlet from winners and love it,

And as much as I love that wristlet, I need this clutch in my life....

It's also from chapters and while someone's telling Nick about my umbrella, mention this too please.

Make sure to check all these fab blogs up, and leave some love for these awesome ladies.

    1. When I tried the leggings on last night, Nicks words were: "Oh hell no". I swear there was even a finger wag. He's not a fan.

  2. Is it wrong that I got to Indigo to look at the bags and scarves and not so much the books??? Great post!

    1. Umm, I go to chapters/Indigo to feel good about my parenting. The kids look at books, while I look at home décor and bags, and all things kate spade. Win/win.

  3. That umbrella is adorable. I may or may not be known around my house as a Kate Spade junkie. That wristlet is a fantastic pattern, too!
