Style perspectives- Week 1

Wednesday, March 02, 2016

Today I'm linking up with The Blended Blog in a new series called style perspectives. There are 14 of us who each came up with a theme for a weekly prompt. Each week we will follow the theme and post our version. the person who picked their theme is hosting at The Blended Blog - so make sure to head on over there - just click HERE. I love this because we're from all over the U.S. and Canada, so different weather etc and we're all different ages and sizes for that matter. So neat! I hope I have some IRL friends join in- even on Instagram :) ladies you know who you are !

This weeks prompt : wrap/outer layer

Here was my 'idea' when I hear wrap (I automatically go to blanket scarf....cause I'm obsessed!!) normally I would think cardigan but I literally wrapped myself in my scarf at work yesterday so it works:)

Wrap/Outerwear

So it's officially blizzarding up in Ontario right now. Hence this lovely look from me below. I tried two days of photos, blizzard both days.

(close up of my braid head band just for fun).

I'm really excited to see how everyone else styled this look!! Make sure to check out everyones look. And if you have a blog and want to join in - PLEASE DO! So fun! Link up below:

14 bloggers each picked a look that defined their personal style.
The featured blogger on the Blended Blog showcases her signature style (the prompt for that day) and then the other bloggers (on their personal blogs) show how they interpret it.
Make sure you stop by the Blended Blog to see the featured lady.
Please link up on the Blended Blog to show us how you would wear the prompt!

  3. Love how you styled your scarf and LOL at you tried for two days and blizzard hence the look. You are so funny. And I love the little braided headband. How did it stay in your head with it pinned? I've been wanting to do that, but always think it will just fall out?

    1. It was pretty easy actually - you brush the hair back and clip it, and then braid each side by your ear, and bring each over like a head band and pin, and then unclip the brushed back hair. (That probably made no sense - I'll do a tutorial)
