Day 69

Madisons class has been studying the Holocaust, and they had a ‘book museum’ this week. Basically the kids paired up read a book (pre chosen by the teacher) about the children’s Holocaust, and made a mini museum and we parents got to go look around.
Mady’s partner got a head injury in hockey so she had to do the whole thing herself. I’m so very proud of her report and museum on “Hana’s Suitcase”. She’s become (like her aunt Carol-anne) a bit obsessive over reading/watching anything to do with the Holocaust and World War II. Her and I watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas the other night, and she’s currently watching the Diary of Anne Frank on my iPad.
Here’s a few pics from Mady’s Museum.
This was hanging in the class, from another history project she did. She has to write a story and then draw the cover.
